Me and my brother are going to take a trip down to Brighton tomorrow it is going to take about an hour and a half to get there solid motorway most of it then the boringly straight A23.

I just want to know when we get there is there any places we have to go or any roads we have to ride?

Want a good days riding so any tips on where to go eg fast B roads and twisty NSL would be great!!

Both on CBR600F BTW

Going to leave at 10ish so early posting would be good Thumbs Up
I will post back on how it went.

i live here (brighton) there are loads of places to go and see. Start off by sea and ride anywhere the road goes and you will find something nice to look at.

Big place brighton and the one way systems are a bitch so you could be finding yourself heading the wrong way without knowing it :=)

Boxhill isn't too far away, by Dorking on the A24. Some nice roads East of Brighton from Chichester to Guildford, and there's the A264 running across the South-East which has plenty of good bends.

Can't remember the road number, but theres one just outside Brighton off the A23 that goes to Guildford, could be A281 (?), which myself, Joe and MonkReadUsUk went on a couple weeks back that wasn't at all bad.

I can see a days ride forming there Smile

I'd suggest you head up towards Hassocks, and then take the road towards Lewes, then from Lewes head out towards Eastbourne via Halland, and meet up with the A22 and follow that towards London, and then swing towards Box Hill on the A264.

It's a good ride and has a good mix of dual carriageways, NSL twisties etc..

Go upto Devil's Dyke, nice road up there, then the A283 isn't bad, from Shoreham to Steyning, then follow a nice B-road up towards Patridge Green (my personal bike benchmark road), that brings you out on the A24, jump up a bit to Southwater and onto the A272 towards Petersfield, that's a good road all the way.
