So, I've been riding for a few years, I'm confident on the bike and given the chance do try and lay it down in the corners. Thing is, I always rely on courter steer and naturally fast corners to get a big lean on the bike.

So, I know what my body is supposed to be doing and where my arse should be but what should my handle bars be doing (turning into the corner/straight and just lean/counter steering a bit) when I want to nail some nice second gear slower speed roundabouts?

Hope you can help! Thumbs Up

Counter steering just leans the bike over.

Once the bike is at the desired lean angle, just nead to hold them in the position that the bike is staying at the same angle.
Nothing complex.

Thanks guys, I figured as much but jst wondered as sometimes the bike feels a bit 'unnatural' counter steering a slower speeds.

I obviously need more practice!

Thanks again!

You get used to it.

Watching some onboard footage of me at Cadwell last year, I was quite suprised how damn fast I was flipping it at the chicane the mountain - full lean one side to the other within about a second.

That's without consious countersteering- though I'm sure I am doing it anyway.

Give the new roundies at Solstice Park, Boscome Down a go if you are still in the salisbury area. I can be found here KD on most dry evenings!
