Do the old bill target 125's on L plates to make sure there not deristricted. i.e. random checks or if they think the bike looks a bit to quick pull you up for a closer investigation  |

I doubt you'd get pulled for a check to see if its restricted, a good proportion of the plod wouldnt even know where to start looking!
If you've got L's on and not doing anything daft, they'll have no reason to pull you. If you get pulled for doing silly speeds, just play dumb. "Hmm, I was sold this bike as restricted" and the such.
I remember someone (think it was Lee_367 off this forum) fitted a discreet switch to his RS, which would allow him to go from restricted to full power in a matter of seconds.
