However minor...

For me, it has to be having helmet hair... you just can't look good, no matter how hard you may try, when you park up and take your helmet off!

It has to be the time consuming leathers on/off thing, negates any advantage gained on the daily commute.

Cheers

Not for me it didn't! Journey was still 15 mins less even with putting the gear on!

Sounds like you might need a bigger lid mate. Confused

I rode for 12 hours once taking my lid off only to fill up for a petrol station.

Then again, I also have a broken collar bone from where, the police recon, I fell asleep on my bike. Rolling Eyes

The entire process of getting ready to go out on my bike, unlocking it, unlocking the gate etc. It takes about 20 mins just to leave!

I also hate helmet hair, I have to plait it if I don't want a giant tangle afterwards.

One more thing - the wobble of the bike itself.

Well,

Arrow Carrying helmet / jacket around when you get off
Arrow The embarrising oil patch it leaves when its been parked up
Arrow Getting wet in the rain
Arrow Having to spend 15mins getting fully kitted up before going anywhere
Arrow The instability on wet roads Thumbs Down
Arrow The Wind
Arrow The Wind Noise
Arrow The fact that how ever obvious you try and make yourself, some drivers still dont pay any attention to you
Arrow The attitude that all bikers are angry and should be avoided at all costs
Arrow The attitude that we all race around at 300mph in 30 zones
Arrow When cars pull right over to the left hand side curb, as if to say "Go on, go past then", when all you want to do is sit behind them like a normal person at the legal speed limit...

Oh and

Arrow The inability to "Hide in it" when it gets cold and wet
Arrow The inability to "Stay in it and keep warm" when you brake down
Arrow The inability to eat a mcdonalds inside it when its full inside and too cold to sit outside

and ofcourse;

Arrow The funny looks you get when you go through a mcdonalds drive thru... Although admittedly i do find that kind of ammusing! Especially when you ride off with your g/f on the back holding the cokes Wink

Drivers who are scared shitless because they have a bike behind them, you can see them twitching, then they slow right down so you have to overtake them, its the hesitation and indescision that gets me most about this.
