Bikerben came down today to try and find out why his bike drifts to the left. We went up to a mates who has told us that his yokes are bent.

While there we put his bike on the dyno, it made 56.4 bhp

I've watched my bike being dyno'd alot, and it still looks weird to me, seeing a bike on a dyno. Very addictive. Laughing

Was that guy wearing any ear protection? Confused

The 8bhp advantage is probably eaten up by rider skill anyway! Wink

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Unless it's dynoed on the same day, the same dyno and the same weather conditions, comparisons are useless.

I've had a 8bhp variation between two different dynos on different days - same bike.

What setup are you running?

Mine made 61bhp in 3rd with L model carbs on a H model and full Micron system.

Run like a bag of wank tbh, I've just fitted a dynojet kit this week and now its fantastic, I'm off down to the dyno centre tomorrow to sort out a few niggles so it'd be interesting to see what its making now, I know the power is a lot more smoother and easier to ride, and thats what counts

I have a 400 so I post about 400's as that is the stuff I know about, I'm not goiing to go posting about 1000's as I don't have one and when I say I want one people just call me nuts etc. I was posting a video of BENS bike, not mine, not a tarty add on etc.

That's strange, looking down the forum there appear to be plenty of threads that are not connected to the bike that the thread-author owns... Could it be, that other people find other things to talk about other than how great their bike is Thinking

So this thread doesn't have anything to do with your obsession and fixation with your zxr400? *glances at thread title*
