thts a good question

when i changed the tyres on my bike i bought them online and went to a tyre fitter and it cost me £15 to find out it was the wrong tyre! (right size but for the front instead of rear)

in the end i just ordered the tyre with them and got it fitted for free!

wasted about £30 having to send the wrong tyre back for a refund.

I've bought several pairs from Busters Accessories over the last 12 months. They tend to have special offers on pairs, so it might be worth giving them a phone and asking.

I find FWR very reasonable, they advertise themselves as Britain's cheapest tyres.

I'll vouch for FWR as well. Just bought a couple of tyres off Fleebay for a fair price.

Remember to always consider the price of tyre fitting/balancing. Buying mail order tyres and then having to add up to £15 per tyre doesn't always add up to the best savings. Like anything, pays to shop around before you commit to buying.

Luckily, my local ATS offer very reasonable prices for the fitting and balancing of tyres - they have to be on loose wheels though.
