FS: GPZ1000RX ... Just ?600 ... now picture heavy

It's a 1986 'D' plate Ninja - Red and Black with red wheels.

Here's a pic from when I bought it - sorry about the camera shake ...

It's currently sitting in my garage with the tank and bodywork off in mid-service mode ...

Until recently it was a sound bike, one I bought for £750 and then spent something like £150 on service items and new bits:-

Plugs/ air and oil filters/ brand new 632 chain/ 4 x carb overhaul kits/ new centre stand etc etc etc

-It is in average to good condition for its age - nothing wrong with the cosmetics/ plastics other than the inevitable odd crack.
-Immobiliser.
-Braided steel brake hoses front and back.
-Decent tyres

I'd bought the bike to simply service and MOT to ride - I got as far as changing the oil and filter before breaking one of the spark plugs trying to remove it. The head will have to come off to sort that. Prior to this it was running quietly and smoothly.

For anybody handy with a spanner this would be a cheap way to get a decent RX - just £600 wanted.

My mates got one of these , he bought it for £500 quid as a runabout , we stuck it on the free dyno at Builth bike show and it topped 170 mph on the rolling road !!!! , its a cheap way to go seriously fecking fast , don't let it's age put you off they piss rings around the modern 600's
