It's an interesting piece of kit, though as usual, poorly reported on by the media.

Okay then, reconcile those Rolling Eyes ...

£18,500 though. Shocked
It is nice to see the NABD getting more coverage. Thumbs Up

"This is a totally new concept, a trike that is safe and which gives you independence and the freedom of the road "

Is it bollarks..

A company 5miles away has been makeing bikes specificly for wheelchair users for the last 10 years or so, not to mention the numerous trikes modifyed for disabled riders allready on the road... (born2bvile on here will be able to tell you that..)

Rolling Eyes

Good that they are being made, but why do they allways claim they are the first to do it?

It does strike me as something sombody with too much money on their hands would go for, you could have one custom made to your height/weight/mobility/tastes for half that..

I think the point, Mr Z, is that they will be "mass" manufactured, as opposed to one off trikes.

There was an amazing picture in fast bikes last year, it was some kind of custom harley with a sidecar, but all the controlls where in the sidecar, imagine seeing a bike flying past with no one on it, with some bloke sat in the sidecar Shocked .
Ill dig it out and scan later if I can find it.

Correct.

There are hundreds of wheelchair users blasting round the country on individually built trikes. The aim of the Conquest is mass production.

Cheers,

Byrnie.
