Any of the oxford case hardened square chains will do the trick.

I purchased mine for the princely sum of 12 quid. Including a mediocre lock which was replaced with a half decent sirka round lock.

Oxford Chains and locks are crap, and everyone knows this, they are shit.

Almax are the only chains that you can depend on.

Gets what you pay for... £12 gets you a paper weight ie. a junior hacksaw will go through like butter.
You need to be spending at least £40 for the chain alone and then get a very good padlock.

Some decent ones here....Security Click on locks & chains at the top of page.

Oh yea ... try to go for a Thatcham approved one. Wink

You can usually get end of line oxofrd stuff off ebay. Got my chain and lock off ebay for £25, their silver star range or something similar. Confused

More a visual deterrent than anything else, I just rig the bike up to a Personal attack alarm with some fishing line.

I always regarded Kryptonite chains to be some of the best.
Oh the shame. Embarassed

We use Oxford Monster chains, (£100 a pop), and Oxford Thatcham approved Disc Locks, (£46 each).

I have an Abus Granit Extreme Plus 59 lock and chain. It's a monster, but a quality product.
