I've now been without a bike for a month and it's starting to crack me up a bit, way more than I thought it would. I feel the need to ride and I can't. Sad

So...

My KTM blew up back in January so effectively not had a bike since then Shocked Embarassed Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

I do have the SV but I only bought it to commute and have barely ridden it, just don't find it all that fun to be honest.

Now that I've passed my car test I'm gonna tow my KTM up to my mates in a week or two for it to be rebuilt and set up then I can go mxing again Mr. Green Mr. Green

Me can't wait Thumbs Up

It is fun I guess if you like that sort of thing but nothing really lives up to the KTM to be honest.

Due to my financial circumstances as a student, I spent well over a year without a bike.

Lets hope I never have to repeat that phase in my life!

Only 3 months after my accident due to a lack of bike and been unable to move my ankle in a "gear change" type movement.

Do not wish a repeat as them 3 months really seemed to drag. Crying or Very sad

I suppose I am addicted to bikes in a way.

I guess i'll be without the bike in winter months.

(Well it will be in the garage).

I'm thinking Nov - February (4 months).

I use the bike for commute and the amount of salt up here, plus its hilly as f*** where I live and don't fancy bottle ice.

At the moment I still have my NSR125 along with the GSX. When the GSX breaks down (and it has, only a petrol leak from the tank Rolling Eyes ) I ride the NSR. It's fun to ride after being on a big heavy lumbering machine. I'm gonna sell it soon though, I'm thinking about getting an enduro 400, probably an XR. Thumbs Up

Probably the week I was on Holiday last year.

I'm having problems now as the bike is becoming very unreliable Sad

It's only now I've realised how much I rely on it - for work, friends, relationship. I should have bit the bullet and took it to a dealer as soon as I couldn't find anything wrong the other week, instead of waiting for it to become such a big problem I'm not even sure if its ridable to the dealer Sad

Had about four months off with a smashed up wrist at one point. Got hell off the physio for having ridden the bike in even then because I could hardly touch my index finger with my thumb Rolling Eyes

Good job my Jawa had a semi-automatic clutch that works off the gear lever.

Was about 11 months I think. After I sold my RS50 last January, I was at college and not working and couldn't afford to get another bike. And November last year I ended up buying the XTC125.
I absolutely hated being off the road but luckily enough college was just a 5 minute walk down the road but to go see mates I was forever asking for lifts and getting the bus.

Yeppers, same here except I'm 31 and just started riding about 2 months ago. Kind of glad though I hadnt done it earlier or else I wouldn't be discovering the fun they can be now. Its a whole new world.
Old girls out of action due to needing new clutch ordered in . All up will be about 2 weeks since last ride. Since I havent spent a day off it since I got it, 2 weeks is a real pain in the arse

Hi

Not sure really. Probably when I was working in Belgium and commuting back for the weekends. Probably went some time without riding a bike then.

All the best
