Hello all! This is my first post here!

I own a honda CB1 and i was wondering how i can replace the clipons with a spare fatbar i have.. is this possible? driving would be much easier and fun i think..

Hi

Do you mean to fit normal conventional bars?

If so you will probably need a new top yoke (think Lucas make a large range of them, not sure who sells them though).

Depends on what sort of clipons you have (ie how they fit to the bike).

Sometimes you just need to bolt on a simple raised clamp which are cheap.

Sometimes you can fit a bar clamp that attached round the fork stanchion (you need at least 24mm of exposed fork stanchion above the top yoke to use these. Like on my GPZ500s below). Which are nearly as cheap.

The rest of the time you would need to replace the whole top-yoke. Which is expensive.

Thanx 4 the answers guys! I'll put a pic of my clipons 2morrow so as 2be sure 4the solution.. I've thought of replacing the top yoke with the one from superfour which doesn't have clipons but since it's more expensive..

Iin general your photo is what i'm talking about! see the pic i put! How these r called!? where can i find them and how much do they cost??

thanx a lot mate! don't know if the distance between them when installed is ok for a fatbar or if the fatbar fits them.. i'll try to find something similar here in greece now that i have a picture Wink
