ok heres the situation:

16 pass CBT
17 pass car test
18 retake CBT

on the back of the CBT it says:

This certificate validates, for the life of the licence, the full moped entitlement granted with a full car licence issued in respect of a practical car test passed on or after 1st february 2001 if, either:

the car test is passed within 2 years of this certificate being issued, or

the training course was completed after the car test was passed.

does this mean i now have full moped entitlement on my licence for the life of my licence?? I.E ability to ride a moped with no L-plates and a passenger?

i passed my car test within 2 years of my 1st cbt and passed my second cbt yesterday. its very confusing. i have a 33bhp bike test booked for the beginning of august so shouldnt really matter but just wondered. seems the DVLA are being as clear as mud once again!!

Yeah, you would have full moped entitlement for the life of your full licence. It means you can carry a passenger, no L-plates.
