Single cylinder 660cc sports bike built by Belgrada, Yamahas Italian subsidiary. Makes 48bhp claimed power.

These are sporty little bikes based on a TZR250RR frame, incredibly light and highly flickable, theyre an interesting and lightweight alternative to a 400. Lots of torque and (so Im told) great for wheelies.

Inspires loads of confidence as a first bike because of the light weight and superb handling.

Also has lots of tarty features including:
1) Brembo brakes (front & rear) with a whopping 320mm disc
2) Paolis fully adjustable Upside-Down front forks
3) Fully adjustable rear suspension
4) Brembo 17" wheels

Has done 19,000 miles and is in good condition, viewers welcome. I have a 33bhp certificate for the bike, although it is no longer restricted.

Based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, hoping for £1,100 for the bike. Check on autotrader and you will see people usually ask for a little bit more than that for these bikes, but Im hoping for a quick sale.

If you pay for my travel there and back, which I imagine would be about £70 including a train or bus back, then I would be glad to deliver to Devon.

You would have to be definately buying the bike though.

Almost none Im afraid, I have two MOT certificates but as it was my first bike I (stupidly) didnt ask anything about that, so didn't get anything.

My 21st Birthday Phoned my insurance company out of curiosity and they said I would need to pay them a one-off payment of £65 to upgrade to a 600, so Im after a Triumph TT600 or ZX6R instead.

Xavier, that sounds fair, I could arrange all of that, but how would you feel about paying for a bike that you haven't seen?

I mean, if I ride it all the way down to your house and you decide you dont like it! I would kinda prefer to have the payment upfront, as I would have to take time off work and stuff.

If you feel comfortable buying it without viewing thats fine, but if you know a friend whos nearer Id be happy for them to check it over for you.

Whats it like to ride? is it ok in town? can it handle motorway cruising? any ideas on 0-60?

Is the bike standard? performance exhaust or K&N filter like you mention on your site? how are the tyres, brakes, chain? is it taxed, when does the MOT expire? is it official or imported? any chance of some more pictures?

Hi,

The bike is bog standard, no performance mods Im afraid.

Its nice and easy to ride, pulls high from low revs, Ive read that 0-60 is 4.5. Its basically about as a fast a 400.

The tires are good with a full BT92 on the front and a full (brand new) BT90 on the rear, the chain and sprockets are good too and come with a Scottoiler.

Brakes are relatively new on the front (bout 4 months) and work well - The front brake is overkill for the light weight of the bike.

Its official, not an import.

Cruises at 80mph easily, and still has enough grunt at 80 to accelerate up to 100 or so with ease. Will continue on higher than that, apparently up to 125mph but Ive never found out.

Great in twisty roads and fantastic on roundabouts as the light weight and very sporty chasis mean it becomes weightless on its ear, and flicks from side to side whenever you ask. Also the big single engine lets you really get on the power out of corners, as it provides good grip and lots of low down grunt.

The bike was dropped on its left hand side when I locked the front wheel entering a bend in a panic on a country road. This was some months ago. The remaining visible damage is a scratch on the left hand engine case and on the clutch lever. Will give you a full breakdown of what was replaced etc if you come and view it.

I am pretty interested actually, but I don't want to mess you about so you should know I don't get back into the UK untill August 26th..... I'll be looking to buy a bike as soon as I get back though. Are you in a big rush to sell it?

Keen, Im not sure how quick Im hoping to get rid of it, as Im still seeking a new one, but I would imagine its possible I will still have it by then.
