It cost me £170 TPFT for the CB250, 1 year NCB, 1 year's experience, ungaraged in Sheffield city centre. I think they said my renewal would be around £230 for the Bandit, but I'll believe that when I see it Smile

At 19 I paid £252 for the ER-5 insurance with 1yrs NCB TPFT.

To upgrade to the bandit it was £15.75 6 months later at 20.

But I have gone from a bike worth (to them) £2000 to £3000 and gone up 4 (i think) insurance groups.

You should get yourself to squires soon!

I wanna laugh at your inferior colour bandit.

Not bad for a giraffe. Maybe a smaller giraffe would be cheaper?

it would seem to me that NCB's doesn't mean all theat much actually, i mean the difference between having 1-2 years and 4 years. For example my broker, motorcycle direct found me quote at £260 TPFT on bros 400 with 4 years no claims, £250 excess. oh and im 20 had my license 4 months.

Hardly a sportsbike/thief target bike, 4 years no claims, and i seem be getting the same quotes as some you chaps with hornets and bandits etc with 1 years no claims?!

I believe the 6R is a group 14 and the 7R a group 16.

Equity Red Star gave me a real good deal. I suppose different companies are good for different types of bikes / people
