The rear brake pad on my Hyosung Comet 125 is shall we say a bit on the thin side, so I was wondering how easy or difficult it would be to replace it myself? Or should I get it done at a garage?

Cheers

Is it a disc brake or a drum?

Its very very easy!

Most brake disc calipers, to change pads is the removal of one or two pins, pull out pads, put in the new, replace pins. Its obvious when you look at the caliper.

Buy a small tube of copper grease and smear some on the BACKs of the pads an the pins when reassembling. Youll see why when you take them apart again. Make sure not to get any on the friction material.
