How many shopping centre car parks have that side lane for motorcycles to travel up?

I was entering the car park at Edgware's broadwalk shopping centre and about to go up that side lane when i decided not to because there was some woman on her pram and i didn't want to alarm her, so instead i darted down to go down the barriers instead. But this is when second nature gets the better of you.

Usually i cruise past the barriers on the side lane, but this time i forgot i was meant to get a ticket. Failing to break at 5mph, the barrier brushed my shoulder and it brought me and the bike over. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Shocked, despite there being a protruding yellow barrier in front of me.

Caught between the barrier and the kerb, i embarrasingly had to pick my bike up in the most conspicuous manner possible. How embarrasing was that!! There must have been 10 cars behind me at that point, just laughing! Poor woman and her baby got a bit of a fright when she heard a bike hitting a barrier.

Luckily bike was OK, nothing snapped or bruised. I think only thing bruised was my pride!

Sports 400 would probably have fitted under the barrier. Smile

So your saying that actually getting knocked off the bike through delusions of adequacy counts as "nearly binning" it?
