Idea Any suggestions for a time and place to meet (in G.Yarmouth) for those that wish to meet us there?

One of the sea front car parks could be an easy place to be.... or we could invade the taxi rank in front of the Britannia Pier at a set time... Laughing

Well if were meeting at the ace's at about 11, say 11:15/30 by the time we leave. How long does it take to get down there?
Don't know the area at all so it's up to you, any popular bike meets down there that we could check out / how many are definately coming / meeting at the ace's ?

It took me 2 hrs in a car the other week, but that was a more direct route. I would reckon 3 hrs would be about right for our chosen route - with the odd stop / moment of directional disfunction.

Could say, meet anyone there at 3pm to be on the safe side.
Still not too sure where to meet though. The taxi rank is only feasible for a short time, but the seafront car parks could be quite rammed at 3pm on a Saturday. Can anyone local throw some thought at this?

And BTW, regarding the directions, i just looked at the route on a big wall map at work. It seems to cover all aspects of road, and looks quite straight forward to follow by roadsigns, but my actual sense of direction is akin to a chavs sense of style. If you look to me to lead you, you will all end up as lost as me!!!!

Anyone got SatNav? Embarassed

Down towards the pleasure beach there is a massive length of car spaces in the middle of the road (sounds stupid but hard to explain). Up there is best bet, will try to get a photo of it today

I've posted this in other threads as well so apologies if you have already seen it.

Would anyone be up for meeting up earlier at boxhill, then up to the Ace, onto Yarmouth?

Right. A good place for stopping / meeting in Great Yarmouth will be outside the pleasure beach, in the car park in the middle of the road. The further towards the pleasure beach the quieter it should be, although I'm usually down here 6pm and after, so it may be a bit busier before 4-5 ish.

As for eating, finding a place won't be a problem Wink Right behind where I took that photo is a chippy, and we have all sorts of resturants as it is a tourist town (kfc and mcd's included)

I have autorouted the journey, and its straight forward-ish.
The route does follow some pretty major roads, so if things get too complicated we can take a more direct (faster) route.

Re, the photo. I know them spaces, sorted then.... Thumbs Up bout 3 it will be... Mr. Green
