I often take my boy ot on the bike (he's 11) and he sings as we go along. All kinds of stuff from nursery rhymes to pop songs. Is he unusual or do other people have to put up with this kinda thing??
I'd have done a poll but I dont know how! Very Happy

When I'm pillion I sing or pretend to be Bender from Futurama!

Even when I'm riding I sing (bad habit, takes me into another world!)

I sometimes sing to myself (albeit very badly) when I'm on a monotonous dual carriageway or motorway... passes the time away Smile

I found a bit of Iron Maiden perks me up when on the motorway, but I've never noticed a pillion singing before.

You know that little ditty bender sings when things are on the up for him?

'Ooo yeah come on bender, Ooo yeah come on yeah!' complete with robotic dance (which is hard to do effectively on a moving bike) Laughing

Well, my gf likes to sing now and then.

Couple weeks ago riding through Auchtermuchty, Sarah starts singing "I'm Gonna Be" by the Proclaimers Laughing

For those that don't know, Auchtermuchty is their home town.

I heard her clearly, so I wonder how it sounded to pedestrians!!! Laughing

also have arguments out loud in my lid with other rd users , even though they can't hear me Rolling Eyes

as i said else where , often sing foo's times like these in my lid too!

I once had a pillion who fell asleep, and slouched round, so I had to pull them over, then they sang to keep awake, but not during normal riding.

I listen to an mp3 player, and give it large with the vocals. The looks I get as I'm going down the high street are just hilarious. Then at the lights, tapping the rhythm, and sounding out the guitar rifts!!! I must look a proper twat. Who cares? Do they pay my bills? My vocal skills are pretty poor too!

I find it funny when I'm having a go at someone who has just tried to kill me and it doesn't matter what he says back because I can't hear him!! A tirade of abuse and some good tunes, on a bike. Just perfect. Can life get better?

Only carried a pillion once and he was just toooo quiet!!

I sing my head off when riding any distance to break up the monotony of motorway slogging. I'm also known to conduct an imaginary orchestra on the go when particularly bored.

I often tell my self jokes i havnt heard before,
if i have my mp3 on i sing, often find myself twitching in my seat dancing, drum on the tank, bounce my head or weave in and out to the beat.

note: siniging and druming on the tank at traffic lights, DOES NOT impress the girlies in the car in the next lane Embarassed

never do anything whilst pillion, or take pillions.

Steve.
