Oxford Boss Alarm Disc Lock

Anyone got one of these? and how the bloody monkeys do you activate it without it either not actually activating or going off for no reason?

i can activate it, one 'low' beep, 2 second gap then one 'high' beep.. but it wont actually activate.

i'll try again and it'll have 2 'low' beeps then go off straight away..

i must be an idiot!

I dunno mate, but I just took a chunk out of my front mudguard with a normal Hardcore disc lock

Luckily I was rolling back, and not riding, could of been embarrassing.

no worries..

it does actually activate, but it needs a knock, not just a movement or tilt so i was being an idiot lol

pretty good alarm actually, glad i bought it.

Ah so another zxr with a bit missing of the mudguard, join the club.

Strokes new carbon mudguard replacement.

I have one of these.... and that alarm has twice saved me from looking like a plonker.

Its just sensitive enough so that it goes off just before you attempt to ride off.

A priceless invention, if not quite the intended reason for alarming it in the first place..
