Couldn’t find a thread on this, just wondered where you can do it and how much roughly.
I’m in the Cheltenham/Gloucestershire area.

Not much help to you but there's on at Silloth in Cumbria and he charges £150 for a day on your own bike or £200 for the use of their bandits. (complete with wheelie bars positioned to prevent you flipping) ____________________ https://hyperbikes.forumsplace.com/ |

'West coast wheelie school' Ive seen their adverts at work, he even left a little card on my bike at work. I promptly chucked it so i donthave the address, but could get it for you tomorrow if you really want it?
Anyone else think that 150 notes is a bit steep for an afternoon trying to wheelie on YOUR OWN BIKE??!!
Ive seen the guy driving his car, I hope thats not how he rides!!
I think a bandit twelve would be a little bit easier to wheelie than my cbr too
Anyway I found the site https://www.northwestwheelieschool.co.uk/ ____________________ RS125 > CBR6 > SV650S > ZX636R > GSX1300RZ Hayabusa > 06 RSVR Mille > SV1000S > Street Triple 765 RS |

Hi all
there is another school at :-
https://www.thewheelieschool.co.uk/ (although there is a .com - but it doesn't seem to work today as somebody else mentions) - my brother msn'ed it over to me today - looks bloody good specially the rental bike bit. - i wouldn't want to drop any bike - specially my own and its all in on the price.
I suppose that makes them pretty confident that your gona have a good lesson in wheelies
sounds good to me! |

What is the point of an anti flip bar (other than the obvious)
it will give you false confidence and you still wont be able to wheelie , just go to a quiet road somewhere and practise until you can do it , I have never heard of one single person who has actually learned to wheelie at one of these schools , I can't believe people are so gullible as to pay somebody £150 - £200 to teach them how to ping a clutch.
If anyone does actually want to learn , come and see me ill save you £200 , my time is free.

yeh...all good in theory but then ya gotta find soemwhere to practice, my insurance is high enough without being copped for dangerous driving etc.
plus i ride a 125...if i rode a bigger bike that could easily wheely...i wouldnt want to 'learn' on it, for fear of trashing it. bearing in mind my bike is how i get everywhere and my only form of transport. i dont really want to flip it. or just bust up the forks.
however if you wish to lend me your bike along with a copy of this video...id be happy to oblige your kind offer ____________________ Insta - FemFeral |

The biggest danger is not fliping over the back it's the tank slapper when you touch down again. If you inadvertantly hit the front brakes while the wheel is in the air it loses it's gyroscopic self straightening effect and start to turn (left/right). When it touches down the trail of the front wheel also has a self straightening effect but it over corrects and in to time your lock to lock ____________________ https://hyperbikes.forumsplace.com/ |

Gotta admit, I know *how* to clutch wheelie, but I just don't have the balls to. Will give it a go though. Keep trying.
Can easily power it up, but that's a naff way of doing it, imo. The sound of clutching it up is addictive. ____________________ TheShaggyDA: I've got 3 or 4 pairs that predate my wife, so at least 11.5 years old. |
