Hi guys, my GSXR750M was sat for a year before I bought it recently, the rear disc has surface rust, I have used wire wool, but still not shiny clean, what else can I use or is it stuffed?

Cheers in advance

Ride it and use the rear brake!

The rust should go after the first could of times you brake.
Cast iron discs can go rusty over night!

Buy a can of spray brake cleaner too, give it a quick spray and as said above, go for a ride, and make use of the back brake.

Job done!

Thumbs Up

It's an annual safety inspection, mandatory in the UK once a vehicle is three years old. Short for Ministry Of Transport Test although now they've changed the name to DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) I guess it'll always be called the MOT as long a some of us old gits are around.
