Supermoto/Offroad style 50cc

Still in need of an enduro or offroad style 50cc (roadlegal) bike. All conditions considered, i will need to set a reasonably low budget for insurance purposes. Looking for something less than £1100. No preferance to make or models.

I have a 2000model Derbi Senda, It currently is having some work done to it. I have fitted a complete new topend, Chain + sprocket, battery, water seals, indicators, new mirror. And there is a new ignition (lost the key) and CDI unit (there was a badly fraid wire)
Currently has no mot or tax as it ran out this month while I was working on it. Insurance is very reasonable, i paid £135 tp.
It may be a couple of weeks before it done as the parts are coming from holland. I dont want that much for it, need to sell as soon as I can to make way for a car, so about £600-650. negoiable. You interested?

Im very interested. Time concerned in getting it fixed is no problem, because we just moved the garage is full of crap and theres no room for it anyway . Did it pass MOT easily last time? Is the bike still fully registered? Have you got any pictures?

I dont think it will have a problem passing the mot when its finished. The one thing that I would say lets the bike down slightly is the bodywork isnt in perticulary good condition. This could be changed however. I will probably be able to get the mot done myself to save you doing it. are you 16? or 16 soon? first bike?
I will try and get these parts fitted as soon as they come, but as I say it could be a couple of weeks as the ignition had to go on order from this dutch company and they are currently on holiday til the 14th. When that is done I will take some pictures for you. If you were to have it what would you do for transport? I actually bought it, not far from where you are last year.

Ive got equipment for repairing bodywork, easily done. Im 16 in January, but its quite rare to find a supermoto kicking around reasonably localy. Ive got a Mitsubishi L300 pickup style truck for transport, or if i cant get that, i could hire a luton van. This will be my 2nd bike, as i bought a field bike around this time last year, gave it a full strip down and rebuild. Im in no rush so time isnt an issue. Ive just got to convince the parents now

Ok mate, its good that your not 16 yet, give me some time to sort the bike out properly. But its yours if you want it. I will get you some pictures when the ignition and cdi come.

I definetly want the bike, its down to the parents though. I managed to convince my stepdad, being a biker himself he was reasonable. But my mum will be another story, she's the big cheese. If i manage to get the go ahead i'll check availibility of the transport . The money is mine, not my parents, so although my mum is stubbourn it might not be hard to convince her. Last thing, whats the milage on the bike?

milage is about 9375 (15000km) But the whole of the top end is brand new, therefore it will need running in.

Is there any chance i could get some pictures of the plastics to see what state they're in? Or could you describe the damage?.... A girly question...what colour is it?

Ok basically mate, It had some stickers on which covered quite a large area of the bodywork, when I removed these, where the stickers covered the plastic it is in good condition and the colour isnt faded at all. Where the stickers didnt cover the paint the bodywork is faded, quite badly in some places but inperticular on the fuel flap (small area) and the rear mudguard. Also there is a couple of small cracks on the rear mudguard. The bike is blue, and I am also recovering the seat so it is black. It will look far better than it did standard. I will get you some pictures shortly.

Ta mate . Ive got a good quality air spray gun, so i should be able to respray the plastics quite nicely, or even buy new ones. Youve been a great help

Just to give you some idea of what the bike is like, This is the same model, although this one has SM tyres and handguards which mine doesnt. Also in honesty, mine is no where near as neat and tidy as this one cosmetically. The colour is the same however.
