and abit of tidying up here and there,
ive put new forks on her, new pads , new swing arm,
plastics are abit tatty but ive got 3 sets soo maybe you could respray them,

Hi

It is fairly rough. It is a write off, but only because the new parts were so much more than the value of a tatty old Sintesi. I fixed it up for him (still needs a petrol cap, as he lost that ), but has new front braided hose (there was a small nick in the original rubber hose after the accident which I was not happy with) and has had recent chain and sprockets. Front wheel is red (he knackered the rim on the original white wheel when he got a flat). Forks have some pitting but not high enough up to kill the seals (yet).

Basically it could be sorted into a nice enough bike for a fair amount of cash, or could be ridden pretty much as it is.

Hi

He wants £300. I can put you in touch if you want (pm me you number if you want). The bike is in Stafford if that is a problem. I don't mind going and taking a load of pics if you want.

I think it ran fine. I replaced some of the rear suspension bushes for him last year. The exhaust was blowing a touch (sports exhaust on it, quite light but not perfect condition) so we had it repaired. Has mini indicators on it. Think the front brake m/c is an NSR one (works fine and it very similar to the Aprilia one, but made getting a brake lever interesting). Chain and sprockets are probably only 1000~2000km old.

In the accident it broke the footrest hangers on the right (replaced), broke the top bit of the fairing (replaced with an OK 2nd hand part), snapped the brake lever (replaced), nicked the front brake line (replaced) and bent the r/h handlebar (replaced the bolt that holds it in position). Otherwise there are a few scuffs.

It was before Christmas that he dropped it (forget when now) so it has not been used for a while.

To be honest I bought 2 Sintesis to make one good one and had a load of spare parts left over.

It is a 125. 1988 model (although I think the registration plate is way later than that, as is common on imports).
