will 2 immobilises cause any problems

first a big hello to everyone Thumbs Up

im a newie to the forum. just got my first big bike bandit 400v (well big to me) and loving every thing about it.

does anyone know if you can have two different immobilises on the same bike. I have one already installed but am about to fit a new alarm with immobilises will one interfere with the other Confused

not that im aware of

if a company is fitting the new alarm the usually disconect the other alarm/immobiliser

Im going to install the alarm. I have a really cheep one on there at the moment. but the immobiliser is sepreat and I wanted to keep it. 2 has got to better than one

The cheap alarm/imob I got off ebay doesn't have to have the imobaliser section connected if you don't want it to be.

Hi

Doubt they should cause immobilisation problems, just that you would have double the chance of one breaking and immobilising the bike.

Only thing I can think of is that the current drain from one immobilisor could trigger the alarm.
