Hi, i failed my m.o.t friday for front wheel bearings (bought new ones and fitted myself) and a loud exhaust, its the standard exhaust but its coated in shit inside the end can, and i cant get to the inside of the end can.
I dont know what to do, i got free retest on monday, but it will probally fail again, i need to make it quiter for a day.
I bought some exhaust padding thinking i can get inside the end can, so now am i going to have to buy a new one Confused

because the price of MOT's are going up and i think its on August 1st, dont think its going up to £40 quid.

sounds like a rough M.O.T centre, try a different one

dont know, it is very loud, but its still stock.
And no its not that the price is going up, he said because it would be after a free retest, or some shit like that.
I'll have to take it their tomorrow, its free, and just see what they say, ill say ive bought a new end can but that one's loud aswell or make up something like that.

oh well cheers anyway,
Jon

Where abouts are you? if your down in somerset i know a top guy who never has any problems with mots, mine failed with its brake pads and indicators, so i told him i would get them replaced immediately, he didnt have any instock so he signed the mot and let me take it away to get new parts, ive seen him let a guy go before for having a nearly balld tyre on the back, all the guy said was i will get a new one soon, and he let him have the mot paper
