what can i say i can't believe they scrubbed up so well! now i'm thinking what else will scrub up!
please how can i stop my tarty illness before it starts!
before know it, i'll have a polished frame and wavey discs! ____________________ Buy my wife: 96' Yam XJ600s (Diversion)

Its when you start buying colour co-ordinated adonized bits that the counselling needs to start. ____________________ Suzuki RF 600 - The two wheeled Testarossa (Deceased)

I try and Autosol anything chrome or near enough chrome on my RD mate. Nothing wrong with it, just gets the metal looking much brighter than it originally did. Also great for getting rid of rust and protecting it in the near future. You see anything chrome or near enough, Autosol it!
Great invention. ____________________ Honda MBX50 | Yamaha RD125LC | Suzuki RG125F Lucky Strike | Suzuki GSF600S

I think thats a well cool bike.
Dont know why though just like the "I dont care" thing the owner has going on. |
Have a look at the same link again, scroll to the bottom of the first page. It now has some reviews of various superbikes that Mole, the owner of that R1 has written after going on some test-rides. He gives an honest oppinion, and don't doubt it, Mole is a very fast man on a bike who knows what he is talking about. Includes Honda CBR1000 RR, Triumph Speed Triple 1050, Buell XB12s, Aprilia Tuono 1000, Kawasaki Z 1000 and Kawasaki ZX10R. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. Hi
Main thing you are removing with Autosol is the protective anodising that they are originally finished with. Once you have polished them you will have to continue to polish them regularly to remove the corrosion that will then be able to attack them (although when alloy corrodes, the layer of corrosion protects the metal from more corrosion).
Also, that anodising is actually a slightly harder layer on the alloy, so strictly speaking you are weakening it marginally (not likely to be a real problem).
Black anodised frames look good. Very highly polished ones look OK, but do a half arsed job and they look awful (and you regularly see them where someone has just polished the easily visable bits, yet when you look you can see the bits they did not bother to do), and it will need regular polishing to keep it looking good.
All the best
