Hi, I have a nrg mc3 50 and I just is so rubbish at pull of, I have to rev it so, so, so hard just to get it moving then it still hardly moves till it gets to 20-25mph.

Now Ive checked my belt and its fine, do you think its my clutch or rollers?

Thanks People Wink

Scoots need a lot of revs naturally - unless they are 4t or are tuned - my mates scooter was fully de-restricted and could only reach a REAL 45mph - most of the 2003 and below scoots speedos are out by 10mph if you are faster than a motor pedal scooter jobby then that is about right - but i know standard mini motos beating NRG's Smile

Just get the big bore and exhaust and you'll fly - if you can get one.

bigbore and sports exhaust were my plans Very Happy my nrg is fully de-restriced and can reach a "real" 50-55mph on slight down hill.

Thanks

check clutch springs

my mates jog r used to be well quick on the pick up but now he revs out full before the clutch engages

take out the clutch and see how much it is worn?

its a lot easier on bigger bikes - if you take out the clutch and you find youve burnt half the plates then you need a new one - my derbi had chunks of friction plate missing - made it slip occasionally

Check the spark plug is OK, if it gets oily performance will suffer alot.
