Suzuki RGV250 '94 VJ22

Hi all.

As the title says, I'm thinking about parting with my RGV, which I purchased not long ago.

The bike is just short of 15,000 miles and is in superb condition for its age. Never been crashed. It was serviced not long before I bought it and plenty of MOT left, until next May I believe (without looking). However, it has no tax and the previous owner declared it SORN. Speaking of which, he was a 55 year old 2T enthusiast so no doubt its been taken well care of. Has a very new rear tyre and the front is still in perfect condition. Its been run on Putoline TTX fully synthetic. The bike is completely standard except the front screen which has been replaced with a nice purple one. The V5 is also here.

The bike starts and runs spot on, but is in need of a good thrashing as its been stood for a while. I've rode it twice and put about 10 miles on the bike. Engine is spot on and the gearbox is nice and smooth. Above 8000rpm its like a rocket, as these things are.

It has the original service manuals, a few receipts for things and every MOT. Its both DataTagged and is fitted with a solalarm although this was disconnected before storage and needs connecting back up to the battery.

I bet you're thinking, "why is he selling a bike he just bought a week ago?" Well, this may sound daft, but I'd like another 125. I intended to put this bike on track and race with it, but I feel its too good condition to abuse in racing. Deserves a good home where it'll get used properly.

Now the asking price. I'd like £1200 O.N.O. Would swap for another Aprilia RS125.

I'm located near Middlesbrough, North East and viewing can be arranged. Obviously, the bike will have to be collected due to no Tax.

You know I had my suspicions! I have always fancied a RGV250, getting board with my GSXR400 now, fancy a trade? I might try to have a look at it next week sometime, if you dont flog it beforehand.

I havent advertised it anywhere other than a couple of forums as long shots so I doubt it'll sell too quickly.

As for a trade, we'll have to wait and see.

Either way, just give us a shout if you'd like to see the bike sometime.

Sorry, but the bike has now sold through ebay.

Some chap from Birmingham collected it not long ago and is now on his way back home via the motorway. Hope he makes it..
