ive had a few bt090's on my bike but at 100quid a pop for a rear its getting a bit expensive practicing burnouts, what i was thinking was to put a different tyre on when im going out just to do tricks. so does any one know if there is a better tyre, either a dirt cheap one, or one which will last longer. my rear is 150/60-17
(not to clued up with tyres so any help is good)
cheers phill

The hardest wearing commuting tyre with lots of rubber. I would ring around a few tyre shops and ask.

If you only want to practise burnouts just ask the shop for the old ones from customers bikes.

I learned to do feet up rolling fig 8 and stuff on grass , its a twat to keep the front end under control but it doesnt damage your tyres at all and if you drop it you cause no damage to the bike , also once you have mastered them on grass its piss easy on the road

My local tyre place has to pay 50p per tyre he chucks out, so he's happy for you to nab some - especially if you him to fit them Smile.

Also consider 'race scrubs' - you can get these in 120/160 sizes for £40 a pair if you get to a race meet. They are pretty damn sticky, but still should have plenty of meat on the middle left for burnouts!
