I think you'll find selling of used helmets is generally frowned upon around here.

I thought, if no-one was offended by the sale of vibrators then selling my helmet would be pretty safe!

Because it can't be trusted that someone hasn't dropped it, therefore rendering the helmet useless

There are several concerns with selling second hand helmets.

Obviously it's very much 'buyer beware'.

Not only may it have been dropped etc, but the original owner may have sligfhtly 'moulded' the helmet to their shape.
This means that the helmet you tried on in the shop of the same make (because, of course, you'd be really stupid to buy a helmet mail order without trying on that model ) may not be the same fit as this helmet.
