If James is coming along, no doubt he'll be slowest since he's running the bike in. Razz

Then theres me, I've never ridden to Whitby and I dont even know the way there! Not been on the Helmsley road either, but that should be interesting.

K, looks like I will be meeting you in Thirsk and then we will be riding to Darlington to meet the rest. Don't worry about being the slowest as I pushed my SV a bit hard today so will take it a bit easier on Sunday at the back of the pack - might even take up the six.

Yes, it's Graham you met at Preston Park.

Wow I can't even remember the last time I went there. Would like to blast across the moors sometime on the toy. But alas living miles away from them doesn't help much. Laughing

Hex, Preston Park isn't as good as it used to be. Health and Safety has got in the way and all the cool park bits have gone.

3 concrete bears, a few swings and a crap slide. Thumbs Down

Was a sound days riding. Probably the longest trip I've taken the Bandit on, clocked up a nice 200 miles by the time I got home. Brilliant roads over towards Whitby, if a little narrow for overtaking. Laughing The moor roads towards Pickering were just fantastic though!

Shame we got split up, you guys just left us in Whitby so we went on a mission around and decided to head straight for Helmsley. Got sick of waiting and headed a little further to Thirsk where I found an R6 for sale, very interested. Very Happy Then off to Northallerton and back up the A19 to good old Teesside. Thumbs Up

Good day without any problems. Thumbs Up

He got caught by an unmarked parked Subaru hiding in a lay-by with a laser gun which then contacted a police car further ahead... She (and she wasn't bad either Embarassed ) then waved him in. Luckily we were all quite spaced out so she didn't get the opportunity to wave us all in!

As much as I hate speed traps I will say that to me this method is not half as bad as camera's. At least they are in the field themselves being 'selective' and not just cashing in on everyone who passes a metal post 5mph faster than the speed limit...

If I remember correctly it was parked on one of the first long stretches after you leave Helmsley.
