i was sitting at some traffic lights last night when a 2003 identical nsr pulled up next to me, he told me it was fully derestricted with a full arrow race system on it, which when i looked it did appear to be. Any ways the lights turn green i had my revs up to 5k his bike sounded the same and i was a good 3 meters in front of him all the way up to 20mph, i know its not much but my bike is still fully restricted, whats going on here , i know it wasnt his riding as it happened 2 more times! gave me a good buzz though lol |

Its possible that NSR's with race cans have less torque low down as a trade off for slightly more power at the top end. Not sure tho, my NSR has/had a standard can.

That is wierd! Are you sure it was fully derestricted? sounds to me like he just put a performance exhaust on it. A derestricted NSR with an arrows system should produce far more torque all the way through the rev range compared to a restricted NSR. Maybe his clutch was on its way out. ____________________ www.bikepics.com/members/jackcheese <--- NOW FOR SALE! 51 Plate Cagiva Planet 125
