Multiple Biker Nods

Ok here's my problem, going along a lovely country road on my Thundercat I see a series of bike coming towards me (5 actually). I'm only doing 50 and there prolly doing the same so there's plenty of time for a lil nod of appreciation to there shiney new bikes

However, do I nod at each rider seperatly in which case the person at the back will see me nod 5 times, or do I give one big long nod to include them all?

I actually nodded to each of them and i must have looked a right sight with my head popping up and down.

Not so much a problem but has anyone else come up against this thought provoking dilema

Give them a as you go past because by the time you put your hand back on the throttle they'll all have passed

I raise my left hand in a flat palm wave and nod occasionally, depending how many there are!

I choose, left, forefinger (clutch hand 1st finger) off left grip to left side of hat. Simple.
Of course they nodded to you. (Maybe we go to fast in Scotland for you to notice a nod. Not so many scameras. Yet)

just hold right hand up, therefore coming away from the throttle therefore slowing bike down (just incase you have a rear end collision )

I find it hard at times to see whether a biker has nodded or not. Some I can see that they have, but others don't make the nod very noticable, so when I do notice, they have usually passed and I feel like an ass for not nodding back.

Also at night, is it wrong that I flash my "Pass" light to oncoming bikers? A lot do it to me and it don't bother me.

Normally just raise my fingers off my throttle, so im griping the throttle with my palm and thumb, and give a few nods to the front, middle and back of the pack.

I normally just do a sideways nod... as per normal, but hold it in position for a little longer so they all get at least closer to me to assume im nodding at them

Failing that, just lift your visor and give 'em a cheesey smile
