hi everyone. i just started to fix up an old honda 175 that i found in the junk yard. the only problem is that i cant find out what year it is. when i rebuilt the engine, i used an engine kit for a 1968-175 but that is the only 68' parts that fit. i took the number off the frame and gave it to honda but they cant find any listing on it and that makes it a bit tricky to find parts. can anyone tell me where i can get some info on this? all i know so far is that it is 6 volt, and the number on the frame is CD175-3029055. thanks.

Hi

CD175 it is then. Think also known as Benley. Not exactly a quick bike, using a single carb version of Hondas small twin engine in a fairly low state of tune. Made from '67 to '69, replaced with the CD175K from '70 to '75. 17hp (15hp for the K version), 80mph, 55mpg, 280lbs (from UMG).

All the best

Keith
