i've done nothing... went round the shop to get some chain lube, and try and find a cheap torque wrench Evil or Very Mad

Ignore it for as long as possible, until they hassle me into doing something, ask G. Embarassed Then probably do the bare minimum because I'm lazy.

That's not to say people should feel reluctant to lend me their bikes though, have brorrowed Bendy's many times without crashing.

I think the answers pretty simple, and its been stated here on this forum numerous times since ive been here. You hurt it, you fix it. If your not prepared to pay for anything that may result from your actions, you dont touch another members bike. Simple as.

I wouldnt go through the insurance, because that wouldnt realy be favourable for either party. Not only for the whole claims thing, but the hassle that is involved, and questions that may be asked in certain peoples situations Wink

If it was another member of a forum that i visit, or someone that i knew personally... then i would prefer to sort it out face to face, without the insurance hassle. Although if he was a tit, i would blatently screw his no claims over Wink
