Jesus Christ it pulls. Got use to the gears pretty much instantly and have not stalled yet. It was worth the 6 month wait just for the induction noise it makes at the top end of second. I don't care what people say, when you've been riding a twist and go for a year, a four stroke 125 feels very powerful. I was so nervous when I got on it and scared myself around the small backroads of Ventnor, but I got home in one piece, then decided to go off again.

I can't stop riding the thing Very Happy

Think the first week I had my cg125 I went out and rode it every single evening after coming home from college. Couldn't stop riding it. And yes, anyone who claims that they've never been scared/exilerated by the power of a 125 clearly either went straight to a big bike(missing out on alot of fun) or when they did ride one they rode it like a girl Wink

I cracked my CG open last night and was pretty impressed by the roar and kick it gave out considering the slating that people give it for its power, i think it sounds bloody nice.

Got the front wheel up a couple of times too Smile

Hehe, all that hard work has payed off my friend. Looks a very nice bike, and the way you put it sounds like it has quite a bit of go in it as well. Thumbs Up

Be careful though, don't go getting carried away so early, just go easy for the first few weeks to get a feel for it, then you can hoot about proper. Very Happy

Still not finished my RD though... Sad

C'mon Josh, you ain't got much time, you need to finish that damn thing!

I went out for another ride after that post, had it up to 70 indicated on the mili road, still seemed to have some left as well. It pops the front wheel readily so wheelies will have to be performed at some point... Also performed my first couple of overtakes. Oh God it feels good to be on it! proper independance at last!

Get your foot better, and we'll do a swap on a nice quiet road for a little while. I think riding a 50 2t will be a hoot.

Is that a dodgy video or was he on the rev limiter there? There is another MZ SM just down the road from me, a 2002 one, and it sounds different to mine, not as raucus.

Update on the foot situation benny, i get my cast of on my birthday, and at the moment i can lift my foot against the top of the cast with the same force as changing up gears without pain, so hopefully i will be ok for the cbt 3 days after i get it off, also sent of my provisional application yesterday Cool finally mum got of her ass and took me.

Unlike your beasty MZ you will feel the power band on my 2t, always a nice feeling, and just so you can alk give me some respect, i persuaded all the car junkies down the front to have a go on my bike the other day, and noe they all want a bike!!! Laughing

The MZ has a power band between about 7000 and 10000 in each gear, it's just when it swaps between the cams. You'll feel it when you ride it. Good to hear about the foot, we'll meet up and have a ride somewhere before the motocross, be cool if you can gather up some of your mates i'll try to grab one of mine.
