PostPosted: 19:53 - 09 Aug 2005    Post subject: Advice needed on Vemar Lid Visors Reply with quote

Can anyone advise me where I can get replacement clear and/or tinted visors for the Vemar VSX Wonder lid ?

I've tried loads of Internet suppliers. And I managed to buy a black racing visor today, but it's not UK street legal.

My lid was not one of the most expensive. But it certainly wasn't one of the cheapest either (£160). But it seems I've bought a lid which no-one supply's spare visors for.

The original clear visor is stamped 'VEMAR VSX001'. But I'd be interested to know whereabouts I can get a replacement and tinted versions.

All help gratefully acknowledged.

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong forum Embarassed

Been there, Bendy.

Bought a Black Race visor today from them. But it's not UK legal and it's all they had.

Seems like the VSX range is something else. Only had my lid just over a month. Bought it Brand New. But can I find a visor ? Can I f**k.

Gettin' on me tits, this is. Seems I spent a reasonable amount on the lid and now I can't get spares for it.

Bloody Italians !

Have you gone back to the place you bought it and asked them?

It seems places have a 'franchise' on helmets, so if they sell the lids they should be able to get the spares.

Yes, I have Bendy.

And their answer was...

'No, we don't do visors. Try checking the Internet' Shocked

Helpful or what Question

Not Exclamation

Just tried to order a couple of visors.

Got all the way through to the checkout and paid using my card.

Then, everything went tits-up and payment never proceeded.

Four time I tried and all I got was...

Template : https://www.offshoremotorcycleparts.com/secpaycomplete.asp?valid=true&trans_id=2871&code=A&auth_code=8984&amount=70.00&ip=81.79.191.75&cv2avs=SECURITY+CODE+MATCH+ONLY&hash=79a257b83de20917e52cc6a3ee1a9c55 not found!

... so I sent an email regarding the problem.

Hopefully they'll reply tomorrow.

Christ! What does it take to order a bloody visor ?

Thanks anyway for all your help. Wink
