... to the NC30 rider I encountered yesterday evening on the Kessingland bypass ...

I was out for my own evening run in my car when I noticed I was holding you up in the outside lane and since I floored the accelerator as I moved over ... hoping to hear the V4 howl as you'd wind it on past me ... but you didn't come past as fast as I thought you would and ended up effectively 'racing' you to something silly like 120 or more and causing a little confusion on the approach to the roundabout at the end of the carriageway ...

I was a Knobend - sorry.

Thats a good road that is. I take it you mean the one near Lowestoft / Southwold.

(Those VFRs are awfully slow aren't they Wink Laughing )

Yup - that's the one ... it's a lovely stretch to 'wind it on' Thumbs Up (in either direction) but the odd cop car has taken to sitting in the town-bound layby ...

It's also the place I first took my 900R to over 150 ...

A 1999 17,000 mile zxr400 got owned by a 1991 48,000 mile vfr400 on the autobahn recently. A GPS measured 136mph fully loaded with 19 days worth of touring gear, baby. Razz

ZXR's can be quick but are very fussy about setup, all the one's i've worked on went like stink when all was right, but it only took a temperature change or something silly to take the edge off them.

he had arms last time i saw him

on the honda v kwak

i rode clauds cbr and it was quicker up to about 50 you could tell so dont all go on the we have more bhp stats etc

i want a vfr as my next project muhaha
