I think I just found my next bike. I love the SS swing arm on the NC30s.

Rossi would embarass Toseland.

Someone at work had a copy of this MCN, but I didn't get chance to have look other than that picture on the cover.

A bit recent R1 inspired too.

Hi

Got MCN here on my desk. It is just a normal braced swinging arm. But then it is basically an artists impression anyway.

All the best

yep took Mrs Spitfire to the bank at lunch so I popped into the newsagent to have a look, it is a normal swing arm!

Doesn't look much different to my R6 to be honest but as someone said it's only a artists impression.

Reading the text, Im a bit disappointed they are going for an all out race rep type machine rather than a bike you can use for day to day riding like the current R6......like the colour though!

<quote me> like the colour though <quote>

thats a bit of a girls comment....sorry Laughing

I doubt Toseland said anything like he wanted to take on Rossi in next years championship. I haven't read the full article but I guess he has just been talking about a move to moto gp. Obviously this would see him competing against Rossi as well as the other riders.

I think it is MCN just trying to sell a few more papers.

Thumbs Up

Can't see them putting a heavier, weaker swing arm on an ultra light 600 Confused.

Attached is a larger picture, you can see the swingarm, but it's in black so didn't stand out. Personally I think it looks worse than the current model.

Other comment on the MCN cover: I think Toseland should worry more about trying to rescue his defence of WSBK before setting his sights any higher!

At a glance, toseland on mcn looks like that moody, sexually confused guy from BB.

The front end has lost the aggressive look which made me like r6's in the first place, is certainly toned down in this, i hope it doesn't turn out like this.

I was going to say that too. I hate the way the big Japanese sportsbike makers copy each other so blatantly (e.g. twin slanted headlights, and now underseat exhausts). It's what makes Gixxers so good!

Yep, Photoshop job sticking ZX6R bodywork onto an R6 chassis, and changing the colour to blue.

All the best

Yes! The K5 1000 is sex on a stick (although the K4 is gorgeous too).

I did think that the older (pre-SRAD) GSXRs looked much better than the SRAD models. Fashions change I guess.

The SRADS always look better in real life but I think the K5 is a bit too, dunno, just something lacking from the simple sharp lines of the K4

The K5 Gixer is probably the most original looking bike at the moment IMO, I love it. The new ZX-6R looks a bit dated to me already, but not the 10R strangely.

And that new R6 is a typical MCN photoshop job to get (young) impressionable people like me all excited. Though it looks shite.

Anyone remember their attempt at the 2005 ZX-6R of last year? Also looked shite. Even their attempt at the RSV450 is a mish mash of an RSV thou and an RS125, though I still get excited every time they publish it!

MCN just does photoshops every week to make up thier own imaginary bikes to get people to buy it.

How many new bikes have they published and how many have actually began production???????
