whats with beeing closed on a wednesday

yesterday on the way to work i brake down not far off the place where i got me bike so i thought ill pushit down to where i got it and get it fixed get there and its closed i think ah rite its not half 10 yet cause thats when they open so i park the bike up and leave it outside some where safe and get on me way to work get into work lunch time i decide to phone up and see who's in and then find out there closed

so i get a lift from a mate in work to me bike and call out me free recovery from my insurence they ask is there another bike shop i want to take it to or not i start thinking of the local bike shops and relise there all closed on wednesdays so im screwed so i tell them to take it home.

phone up the local gilera dealer to find there workshop is closed on cause there on a corse and theres no other places i trust my bike in! the nearest time any 1 can see my bike is monday!

im screwed im a contractor so i dont get paid holidays! now im off on monday and im loosing something like £77 a day! im really not impressed!

any one else had any problems like this before??

Towns where a lot of old people live still have half day closing on Wednesday (one bike shop near me does as well)
Dunno why though, whack it in google see what it throws back

A place i sometimes go to is also closed on wednesdays...

I didnt think much of it though, they were gay anyway.

My nearest Triumph dealer is a twenty-five quid taxi from my house open 6.
Next nearest is in Edinburgh but they're 'gay' Laughing

Next one is Eberdeen, too phar.
My bike is newish so it needs dealer service for the time being.
Next non franchised is about 10mins from home open 6 days.
Bike places are thin on the ground that's the bottom line.
Good ones even thinner.
They do sleepy Wednesdays where I live too. The phannies.
