Its a real bummer when that happens. I failed on 12th July but passed 27th on the second go. The two weeks in between failing and passing i didnt do any riding but things just seems to sink in and you will get out and pass next time if you can get in the right frame of mind!

good luck

Chin up, michaelpagesbar. Confused

If it's any consolation there's a LOT of folks here who failed first time - me included. In my case I'd never known anything so disappointing. I was absolutely gutted, even though I expected it Crying or Very sad

Why don't you start a new topic and ask 'Who failed first time' ?

I reckon you'll get thousands of replies.

Just keep practicing, mate. More to the point, keep practicing the points you failed on. Hire a bike if you have to.

You WILL pass, and it doesn't matter how many times you try.

Never give up Thumbs Up

its a horrid feeling i failed twice before passing third time, failed first for emergancy stop (locked rear wheel), second for pulling out on a car when moving from behind a parked car,

its the most gutting feeling, specially as i had a thundercat at home waiting for my pass certificate

just keep going at it, everyone tells u that i know but its true,
just think, when u do finally pass the feeling will be imense knowing you'll never have to do it again (well unless u clock up 6 points in your next 2 years)

good luck for next time m8

Like everyone says, michaelpagesbar.

It seems absolutely devestating when you fail. But don't worry...

There's absolutely NO shame in failing.

You WILL pass.

Just keep your chin up and think positively.

Couldn't agree with you more, WN. (bleedin hell, could you make your 'that's my story...' text any smaller or more illegible ?)

But don't we all feel so gutted when we fail first time ?

Like the world has ended for us, don't ya' think ?

Is this the truth? What statistics is this based on?

Bearing in mind, I passed everything 1st time, (Car, Bike, CBT, Theory) I feel this is a bit of an insult.

Why should my good driving/riding be knocked.
