Well after 2 failed attempts, I have eventually passed my DAS last week. So now I have what's left of the British summer to get to know my Teapot (GSX600F, for those that don't know).
First impressions are good, especially after riding a CB500 (not that there is anything particularly wrong with them). Could do with a couple of months of reasonable weather now before we head into winter and the daily commute gets a bit more tricky.

Congratulations.

Everyone can remember that fantastic feeling when the examiner says....'I'm pleased to tell you....'

Take it easy and enjoy the rest of the dryish weather.

Congratulations! It's great to be told you've passed, especially when (like me) you think you've failed. Thumbs Up

Passed mine a month ago today - and I'm still learning.

I'm now at the point where the nerves have gone down to healthy levels, but approaching the point of over-confidence - need to watch for that!

Pleased to hear you're commuting on it - I find a bike much less stressful than a car, and because you're concentrating on your riding all the cares of the day evaporate. Mind you, it's only rained once.

Thanks for replies, it's good to be able to call myself a bona fide biker at last. Hope to see some of you around at some point.

That sucks man unlucky. So because you let someone do a 3 point turn your not safe to ride a motorbike on the road? Confused

Not sure I will be able to make those, but I am hoping to get to the superbikes at Oulton Park. Do many BCFers go there?
