At long last and at the grand age of 35 I have finally stopped wishing I could ride a bike, gone and took half a dozen lessons and bought myself a 2003 Honda Varadero XL125. I am commuting to work daily for all of a 20 minute journey but having a hoot. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.

lol, so true

I went travelling around India at the start of the year and hired an Enfield Bullet 300 (i had never ridden a bike beforehand) After 3 months of riding around on that, i was gutted to return home and be stuck with a crappy old Vauxhall Nova lol

Needless to say, i passed my test and am now the proud owner of a Bandit 600 Smile This was a dream for me, and i made it happen, i guarentee you will be addicted to everything that biking entails very shortly.

Bike is running great. Got some waterproofs as the weather here seems to have taken a bit of a turn for the worse over the last couple of weeks. I'm enjoying the practise without an instructor barking instructions at me all the time. Appreciate all the nods from other bikers. Feels like I have been adopted into a new big happy family.
