Hi

Just wondering if it would be possible to put the injecton system on from the later models instead of the carbs?

Cheers.

You'd have to get everything from the wiring, ECU, fuel pump?, sensors etc etc and find ways to fit them correctly not worth the hassle and cost, be cheaper to get rid of yours and buy a newer one if you really wanted an FI bike.

As the newer bikes have a different frame all the mounting points for the throttle body's etc won't line up. Whilst it may be possible to bodge job it all in, it just would'nt be worth it cost wise. Best think of them as two different engines so if you want F.I on an SV get a newer SV!

Sorry to hijack, but is it possible to use the front preload adjuster caps from the 02 model on the earlier models, or would new springs be needed also?
