lol lucky bastard, obviously the pigs are at the end of their chain with the 1000cc boys that leave their panda cars for dust.
To be honest I dunno how that county police force got permission for one of those, surely they would consider chasing someone on one rather dangerous. Maybe it never actually gets used for chasing people, and is there more as a deterant for speeding bikers.

nah i only meant it would get binned if used to chase people, i mean you see alot of cop cars crashed during chases, but as we've already esablished this is for publicity purposes, probably wont happen. Didn't I also hear about some police ferrari 360 or something pointless like that. Although I do know the italian police have 2 lamborghini gallardos that actually get used, and in japan they have a load of nissan skylines, imprezas, and rx-7's.
(although i doubt they're ever used although i dont know, most police cars in japan are 800cc town cars)

There's a Police Sprint ST in our workshop at the mo. They had it new and binned it within 300 miles. £3000 ish. Then they binned it again within another 100 miles. £1000ish. It's now on about 3500 miles and having a new set of pistons and liners because they seized it. Probably something to do with filling it with diesel and riding it back to the station. Or the 150mph 'radio test'.

I think I saw something about this in MCN a while back. Some places even have V-Rods... I can understand why R1s might be a good idea, but why a cruiser? And a Harley at that??

Seen quite a few unmarked scoobies around these parts. A lot of BMW 3/5 series too. Never thought I'd see a police R1 mind you Neutral
