Hey gals & guys

Any peculiarities I should be aware of on a Yamaha XJ 900 S build '95 I recently bought? I am looking for a manual/handbook. I did check the site indicated in the chatroom, but no luck.

Hey there,
there is a online maunal you can download for the XJ600s (which i own) here

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=41567

two things i would suggest checking in addition to usual stuff are

1) the join between the exhaust header pipes and the actual exhaust, they are know to crumble like french bread, especially if the bike is used during the winter

2) also check your camchain tensioner as these are known to wear badly

Hope this helps
WN
