I had a lot of spare time on my week off so I went out burning precious fossil fuel like there’s no tomorrow. Police Tut Tut Angelic Dance! Very Happy
Hope you enjoy this, I see a lot of bad luck on the forum lately.

I was having a good look around the Cotswolds, Birdlip, Stow, Oxford etc, some lovely roads and some even better weather, I was on the road with hardly anyone else (perhaps working, suckers), looking over the hills and fields all around in golden sunshine as far as I could see with a gorgeous warm breeze through my textiles and a gentle purr of my V4 at 90oc. Sun Cool
As I was travelling down toward Charlton Kings passing Cotswold Wildlife Park I looked in the rear view to see a Porsche that had crept up behind me. Eh?
It over took me as I was only going about 40mph, he over took and seemed to not want to take off into the distance, I picked up the pace a little and for some reason felt I’d over take him/her and see what the game is.
I over took and had a quick look in the window, there was this little Japanese fella in a suit, he turned his head and has a smile that looked like that cat from Alice In Wonder land Mr. Green , he looked like he wanted to play, we had around 3 miles of road left. Shifty Shhh!

I got the bike up to around 70-80 along a road similar to the ones at the Isle of Man, then into some corners, the Porsche was still there. I think it was a Carrera 4 or 3 I’m not sure, it had fat hips and sounded like a time machine through my helmet.
The sight from afar would have been great, we were both giving our pride and joys the fucking stuff they were made for, and for once I saw a Porsche in full flight. The bends were nothing for the Porsche and even less tasking for me, I was hitting 90+ on straights and taking corners with pure faith. Praying
We got to a tricky set of turns and the last one nearly had me off, I dropped through from 5th to 2nd into a chicane that had me thinking “Shite”, the engine braking was extreme but as I was using no brakes the bike was still controllable, I dropped the NC to the floor I hit the peg and then up again dipping the clutch Twisted Evil Thumbs Up . The NC has some hideous torque from here so I gunned it, in second I hit the end of the gauge and it popped three times, changed again, the Porsche takes me on this straight, it sounded like the Skeletons from Jason and the Argonaughts as it powered through 3 gears or German precision. Shocked
We came to the junction for the dual carriage way and I left him to it, the bike was almost burning my legs, I pulled away opening my jacket for air to cruise back into Cheltenham. Cool Thumbs Up

Cheers SP Rolling Eyes

Hey do you go through Cheltenham every morning around 7:30am per chance?

Edit: - The A40 was the road we got to, the country roads leading up to it were where we were playing. Wink Thumbs Up

Agree with SP - the A40 Cheltenham to Burford road isn't too challenging but it's a nice piece of road especially as all the speed cameras between Cheltenham and Burford have been removed (damaged after a couple of blokes in a 4x4 with a length of chain and a towbar had a go at them apparantly Confused ).

Dunno where the chicane came into the ride though K as that particular road is full of sweeping corners, Are you sure you just didn't do a u-turn to let the Porsche catch up Wink

The A361 is the road that goes passed the Wildlife Park so it may have been that 'un Thumbs Up

The sign for the Wildlife Park was on the road, but it may not have been on it.
The road was a twisty country road with some lovely straights, the Porsche would have killed my NC on the A40.
