Unlucky mate - looks nasty.

Is your right side engine cover scratched? Difficult to tell from the pics.

Hope your ok mate.
Is it just the cosmetics that are damaged?
Could make a decent track bike if they write it off.

When you were riding your 600 was it restricted to 33bhp? If not then what did you do to get around the police and insurance? Im looking at the same problem with my gsxr now

I dont remember Bend. From what I am told I was mid overtake and the person in front (mate in Brit Gas van) pulled out on me sending me into a unconsious state so I dont actually know what happened.

Bike was restricted except for my trackday so I dunno Benny. Police/insurance havnt sorted the odds yet!

Hi

Ouch. Hope you get that sorted.

Have a good check over what is actually bent. You might well get to keep it from the insurance company for a nominal amount and then sort it for track use with bit from Ebay and race fairings.

Sure there were some pre crash pics of it here.

All the best

Keith

You are lucky. Patients normally come out of a hospice in a body bag.

Unless you mean hospital Wink .

All the best

Kinda OT so I appologise for this, but aren't crash mushrooms ment to bend rather than snap? A bent mushroom's more use than a snapped one.

They're not going to be much use if they bend while your bikes sliding down the road are they ? Kind of defeats the point of them being there.

FFS crash bungs are never going to save your bike in a high speed off. They are there for lowish speed crashes.
