Cool bikes you had . I heard Ducati needs valve adjustment every 10,000kms. Did yours also do this adjustment?
I see many Ducatis also in japan nowadays. |

check of valves clearance and eventually valves clearance adjustment every 10.000 Km.
I change oil and filter every 5.000 Km too, because the city use (about 80%) of my bike, and I am extremely punctual with the maintainance prescribed by Ducati.
If you have cares of your bike, your bike doesn't betray you... never...

Remove engine from bike ?
No no no, mechanic just removes the valve cover (look at red arrows) for the check

Check & adjustment requires 25/30 minutes.
