Are you more likely to get the tester following you on a bike or in a car?

i passed 2nd time and had the guy in the car once and on the bike 2nd time, i think it depends on the weather mostly.

why does it matter though? if he's in the car you can lose him in the twisties Twisted Evil while making progress and nip out into traffic in front of him without him catching up meaning he'll prob miss the odd mistake or 2 Thumbs Up hmm not that he missed mine first time tho Embarassed Thumbs Down Embarassed

Same as above, on the first test he was driving a car (1.0L micra vs ER5) and I kept losing him throughout the test hence why I only got a minor, failed on the U-turn though. The second time around I was hoping he'd be in the car again, but he was on a big Pan European passed with a clean sheet, although my indicator fell off half way through.

My tester apparently usually rides a bike, but for my test he had his supervisor with him so had to use the car. Definitely a good thing!

I'd say the majority are on bikes.

Since they are obviously motorbike licensed (dur) and understand that on a car the whole experiance is different.

Now my dads test (20 years back) he had a bloke with a clipboard, tell him a few directions then run through shortcuts etc to watch him through certain junctions etc!

Apparantly the examiner only saw about 30% of the actual riding, now thats an easy pass for you!

As for me, 2 tests, same guy same centre on the same big white Pan.

There are more examiners who follow on bikes in my experience. The only one I've seen in a car was using an Impreza to follow a Fazer. Laughing Thumbs Up
